Wow, great to see such memories of a loved band. How many nights lost in a drunken haze, whilst soaking up the Birtie magic. All gigs were great & especially those at the Woodlands Tavern & the East End in Chatham. Still play my original tape & Beacon Tavern bought CD.Bloody sorely missed nights of hangovers & sore ears- now i've escaped to rural Australia. Thanks for re- awakening fond memories..... Jim (formerly of Rainham- Usually drunk with Peter Hinkley)
Harry Sunday, 5 April 2009 10:20
Hi Jim, thanx for the comments. I was drumming for DB for some of that time and they really were good days to remember. As you can see from this site, we are all still playing, although now split between different bands. But still rockin'

Great to hear from you.
You are responsible for me still playing mate (volume 11)
We all still talk about you, and the boys will be pleased to be able to say hello.
Proves this site is worth keeping on line.

Hi Guys,
A great site Dave. I keep hearing rumours of the new band and I can see it is confirmed on this site. Cannot wait to see you all playing together again. Please, please, where/when can we get more info.
Robbo Tuesday, 20 January 2009 17:25
New Band is ``RUNNING BAREFOOT`` and website link will be up very soon, but must stress that it will not be part of this History site.
We have left our past behind.
You left no e-mail address.
Keep in touch.
